Empowering Communities,
Enriching Lives
Caring for people
and the planet
We believe that every community, regardless of geography or culture, deserves access to opportunities to live healthier, happier lives. We strive to nurture well-being and create lasting impact in underserved communities.
Turning purpose into impact
Enriching lives to create a healthier and happier world is the guiding vision behind our approach to social responsibility . We aim to create meaningful and deliver measurable value by addressing critical needs and enabling long-term impact. Our efforts focus on key areas such as health, livelihood and skill-building, education, disaster relief, access to healthcare and water, and sports promotion.
Maternal and child health
Through the Glenmark Foundation’s flagship program Project Kavach (meaning Shield), we operate across Himachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, and Assam. The program delivers a 360-degree approach focused on maternal and child health , capacity-building, and hygiene and preventive care.
We collaborate with the Municipality of Malino and local partners to deliver nutrition programs for children under five and nutritionally vulnerable mothers, integrating nutrition supplementation, kitchen gardens, and community health worker training.
In drought-affected Makueni and Kajiado counties, we expand access to maternal and child health support, address nutrition challenges, and are empowering vulnerable households with sustainable livelihoods in these regions.
Across these geographies, our purpose is clear: strengthening the health of women and children and build resilient communities that can thrive. .
Access to Healthcare
Through medicine donation programs implemented with trusted NGO partners, we provide essential medicines and healthcare support to people who need them most. Our Mobile Health Units extend this reach even further by delivering free consultations, diagnostics, and medicines to remote villages to those who have limited access to healthcare.
In Assam, our Boat Clinic offer first-of-their-kind model of access. Traveling across Brahmaputra’s char (island) communities, this floating clinic delivers maternal and child health services, emergency care, and nutrition support in regions beyond the reach of traditional infrastructure.
Together, these efforts bring our purpose to life, creating access, restoring hope, and building a healthier world for all.

Education, Skill Development, and Sustainable Livelihoods
Stronger livelihoods create stronger communities. We continue to drive meaningful social impact through initiatives that focus on skill development, inclusive rehabilitation, education, and community empowerment.
Through our education initiatives and specialized skill development programs, we are helping young people build confidence, develop industry-ready abilities, and long-term economic resilience.
Our commitment to inclusion extends to people with physical disabilities. Through the Jaipur Foot Program, we provide artificial limbs and mobility aids to help them lead independent and fulfilling lives.
Our new Aseptic Training Facility demonstrates this commitment at scale. With advanced laboratories and simulation classrooms, the center will provide hands-on learning in aseptic processing, strengthening the future talent pipeline for the global healthcare sector.
Together, these initiatives reflect our belief in empowering people, creating opportunities that build stronger, more resilient communities around the world.
Promotion of Sports
The Glenmark Aquatic Foundation (GAF) is dedicated to promoting swimming in India, with the goal of cultivating future international medalists.
GAF runs India’s largest swimming development program at Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS, Bhubaneswar). Nearly 800 children receive structured coaching and access to world-class aquatic infrastructure led by tribal coaches. GAF also manages three high-performance swimming centers in Delhi, Thiruvananthapuram, and Gandhinagar in collaboration with the Sports Authority of India (SAI).
